Report and MORE Reports! (Re-edited)

It's time to update my blog again as I've got quite a lot to tell. But I guess I couldn't write much as there are 4 reports awaiting me and to be honest, I haven't even started. The worst part is all of them due next Friday yet I am here blogging all night long. So I guess I'll not have good nights.

First thing that came accross my mind was the Belgium trip. Kind of missing the heavenly taste of chocolate ice blended and the mussels and the exotically brewed beer. That was the trip where I saved most on accommodation and transportation. Why? Because someone was kind enough to provide free accommodation and with the flight ticket that cost me less than RM 0.30 incl. what-so-ever tax. So I do not think I can forgive myself if I do not take up the offer. Yes it is "RM 0.30..." believe it or not.

Secondly, I've been really busy with my summer placement. Thank god it's gonna end soon...but somehow I wish I can stay for a little longer as I can do something I like...web design. Although it is not related to the field I am studying but it was certainly challenging and a very good experience to work in a new environment. Also, the thing I am amazed of is that even the people here who are studying geography and history, they can be very good in IT like developing a database and stuff like that. May be it is just me who is lack of knowledge and skills.

I wasn't sure at the beginning to accept the offer of the placement as I am an engineering student...NOT com-science or graphic design and I never learn much of web design. Somehow, I'd decided to give it a try and with a bit of luck I'd successfully designed and uploaded the web pages for my host company. Not that hard anyway. The hardest bit was that I have to present the project as a whole to those directors!

Thirdly, I am gonna continue my blog later as I really should start to type my reports now. :)

3rd Sept: Approaching to the final week of my placement certainly brings me excitement cause I am off to Spain in the next coming week. But before that, I need to do public presentation for the whole placement in the next few days. In the mid of preparation but doesnt seems progressing well. Not much self-motivation these days. Perhaps I've been slacking too much... :P

Anyhow, just how fast can time past? In a blink of my eyes, I'd been working for weeks and going to start uni life again very soon. Also, realising that I am going to graduate in less than a year time can be a bit freaky. Thinking of all the responsibility you need to take on...
