Anyway, now that Qian Fang finally decided to head back to Malaysia for good, this means that I have less a friend in England. It also makes me in doubt that I should really stay in England for another few years. Everytime when it comes to a point to make the decision to go home for good or not...I never really made one. In fact, I do not know how to make one. I do not even sure of what myself want in 5 years time which tend to be the point where I usually stopped thinking of things like this. It sucks when the life is controlling you instead of you yourself is controlling your life. Perhaps I should take a year long break to travel around the world like many of my friends did.
So what happened in October? Nothing extra ordinary. Work is busy as usual but there were few days I had to drive 60miles north of Sheffield to Harrogate to do some hardware test- A pain in the arse cause it took nearly two and a half hours to reach there on an average traffic and then return again another 60 miles. Return trip took more than 3 hours because of heavy traffic. Sigh... Begin to hate business travelling unless it is international travel, then I guess it will be more interesting =P
Orh, there was a pie contest in my office however. Here is how they did it. Contestants were requiered to make their own pie(s). Then everyone get a piece of every pie and at the end rate it based on the appearance, the pastry and the taste. Prize was awarded to the best pie of the day. So here is the pies menu:
The pies below were not ratable becuase they were bought from the butcher shop instead of being handmade- Cheater!
Also in the competetion were Dave's chicken and leek pie, Mark's chicken and mushroom pie (if I remember correctly) and Justin's second pie, curry mutton pie or was it tikka mutton pie? Anyway, thoese were absolutely delicious. And if you're wondering where is my pie, I did not made one. Well, what kind of pie does the chinese normally have? Sigh the only similar sort of pie alike that I can think of is the siew pau. =P
